I come from a family of well-known artists. I am the third generation of my family to work in the art world.
Being born as an artist but fearful of legacy never persuaded my passion, until I met a special needs kid at the school where I worked as specialist TA. The child's desire to express himself was met solely by the use of colours, and in order to assist him in doing so, I began to use art that had lain dormant for some time. The journey began, and I started teaching special needs students and took over the school's afterschool art club.
I have an NVQ3 in CCLD and a London Art School Diploma. Over the past 13 years, I've been working with preschools, nurseries, special needs children for 13 years, and it's been more than 7 years since I launched my own art club, "funatartclub.com," which caters to children from nursery to advanced learners and runs as after-school art classes in several local schools.
My aim is to foster an appreciation for art, as well as the ability to make mistakes without allowing them to define us. Don't give up; instead, work to make something better. Don't give up if you make a mistake; I'll help you out with my experience and step-by-step instructions. I'll help them form their creative ideas and bring their imagination to life in a relaxed setting, as well as for those who enjoy making their work look professional.
I understand that the classes scheduled might not be convenient for you, but if you are serious about learning, please reserve a time slot on my calendar. I'll take the slot and teach even if it's just one student.
Eager to meet your learners.
