Let’s learn and have fun! In this lesson, students will use their visual and language skills to learn the names of shapes in Spanish. Students will learn basic shape names. Next, they will practice writing the shape names in Spanish and drawing them. Then, they will be shown an elaborate picture in which they must find things that have that shape within a given time-frame. Finally, we will have a scavenger hunt at home in which students will be assigned a shape and must find something with that shape in their home. I am a very energetic and friendly teacher who loves to play games and help students interact among themselves. They will engage in friendly competition as they learn new Spanish words. This lesson is aimed at beginner Spanish learners. I will teach Spanish vocabulary, but instructions and explanations will be provided in English to help students understand. Students do not need any previous Spanish knowledge to participate in class.
