About
I have received my bachelor’s degree in Brass Performance from the University of Akron and am working towards a graduate degree from University of Kentucky. In my over ten years of playing horn I have studied with Dr. Tiffany Damicone for three years, Dr. Margaret Tung for three years and Professor Lisa Fink for one year and had additional lessons with Stephanie Blaha and Dr. Andrew Pelletier. I am currently teaching horn at Fairlawn School of Music, Outschool.com, and at Nordonia Middle School on top of running my private studio. I have formally taught general music at vacation bible schools, performing arts camps, and has lead the Saint Joseph’s children’s choir. In my time thus far, I have performed in various University ensembles including Brass Choir, Symphony Band, Wind Ensemble. Concert Choir, Horn Choir, Brass Sextet, Estrella Woodwind Quintet, The Mellisuga Helenae Horn and Guitar Duet, opera chamber orchestra and Symphony Orchestra. Outside of University I have performed with Marrowstone Festival and Symphony Orchestra, Danjo Jazz Orchestra, Promusica Community Orchestra, Freedom Brass Band, Solon Philharmonic Orchestra, Horns of Ohio Horn Choir, several pit orchestras and weddings in the United States and France. I was also guest lecturer on Clara Schumann at the University of Akron for their Women in Music concert. In my spare time, I enjoy practicing yoga, drinking coffee, and baking.
