In this ongoing class we will meet once a week. learners will learn to identify letters and letter sounds of the alphabet from Aa-Zz. Learners will also practice writing letters.
Class Experience
*Greeting/Mini Calendar Time
*We will recite the alphabet together.
*Introduce the focus letter
*Read a book/rhyme or poem based on focus letter.
*Interactive activity or game surrounding focus letter.
*I will model how to write uppercase and lowercase letter.
*Students will practice tracing/writing uppercase/lowercase focus letter. They will also be able to color the corresponding picture that goes with the letter. (Learners will start this in class and may have to finish after class depending on time.)

Hello, my name is D'Toya Dove and I just finished my 16th year of teaching Pre-K.
I received a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from North Carolina A&T State University, along with receiving a Master’s in School Administration from Gardner Webb University.
