Join SammyJDance for a Grown-up and Me dance class!!!
Every Wednesday in Morningside Park at 11:00 am
SammyJDance’s unique program uses dance and music to help young children learn and practice developmental skills. Imagination and self-expression, encouraging children to grow physically and emotionally are at the core of the SammyJDance program. Without realizing they are learning, dance enhances their classroom experience.
Samantha also works at the Mark Morris Dance Center. She is also a teacher for the Dance Theatre of Harlem. Her classes are highly requested by parents and have full enrollment and a waiting list. While dancing at Shadowbox Theater (2012-2019), Samantha left Shadowbox to run her program for In stages. She is now working further to develop pre-k dance education under her own company SammyJDance. Her goal is to provide specialized pre-k dance to city schools at an affordable cost, so all children, regardless of family income, can know the joy of dancing.
