I have been teaching all forms of dance for 29 years! I am a 1991 Summa Cum Laude graduate of Manhattanville College with a minor in Dance. While there, I focused on Jazz, Ballet, and Modern. I even performed in the Soviet Union in 1989!
I opened my dance school at the age of 23 and still love it! I teach all ages Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe and Modern. My true specialty is Jazz. I love the energy and unique creativity available though Jazz Dance.
Dance class is more than just "dance". It teaches grace, poise, discipline and self confidence. All qualities that will benefit a student in all areas of their lives.
I have been happily married for 21 years and have a 16 1/2 year old son who is beginning his college search. He even competed in Jazz and Hip Hop until 7th grade when soccer took over!
I'm looking forward to sharing my knowledge and love of dance with my online community.
