I have been teaching in the classroom for the past 20 years. I've taught Kindergarten, First Grade, and Third Grade and I have been a substitute teacher for grades pre-k through 6th. I am a California native but have just begun the adventure of moving to Georgia with my husband and my 13 year old son. I've decided to retire from full time teaching but I still have a lot of love to give to students! That's where you come in!
I've chosen to focus on teaching one of the things I love to do the most: photography! I received my certificate of completion in 2002 from the New York Institute of Photography. I have since done many online courses to further my skills. I'm also a member of a local photography club that I utilize to keep my skills sharp. I have participated in several photography contests and have won a few of them! I have also had my photos publicly displayed. I love capturing moments in time with photography and being able to tell a story with a picture.
I have two dogs. I love reading and writing and exploring my beautiful new state of Georgia! I like to run and spend time with my family.
I look forward to working with you! If you have any questions, please ask!
