I’m an experienced online tutor who’s looking for new students. I tutor Spanish, Chinese, ESL and I am an academic coach. Students of all ages are welcome and my only preference is for enthusiasm. I have extensive experience helping students who need accommodations to succeed.
I’m a senior at the University of Wyoming with a 4.0. I am majoring in Spanish with a minor in both Chinese and in Honors. I have been a homeschooler (K-8) and a public high school student, and I have tutored students from both environments.
I started my teaching career with Sunday School which taught me so many valuable lessons. In the last three years I’ve tutored Spanish, and taught it from scratch as well. My ESL experience includes eighteen months working for Qkids and TEFL certification. As for Chinese, I grew up in China, and have been teaching Chinese online for two years. For me being a formal academic coach is new, but for the last three years I’ve been serving informally as an academic coach for fellow college students. I have connected them to relevant resources, advocated for them with Disability Services, discussed success strategies on a course by course basis, and overall made their academic experience smoother.
I would be happy to meet with you and your learner for a free half-hour session to discuss your needs and to see if we would suit. I charge fifteen dollars an hour for a
