Planning the Perfect RV Trip

  • Ages:
    Gradeschooler

Are you ready for a fun and exciting adventure? Let’s take a trip across America in an RV! Traveling in an RV is lot’s of fun, but it requires lot’s of planning and support from your entire family. In this lesson, you will learn the basic steps to planning an RV trip. Everything from choosing where to go, preparing the right items for your destination, budgeting, among others. This class will include some engaging activities to help students plan their own fictional trip. Students will receive some printable lists and charts that will help them manage and keep track of their trip, a list of resources they can access online to help with their planning, and some fun ideas of things to do on their trip. They will also engage in conversation with other students about where they want to go and what things they might need for this special place. Students will use critical thinking skills to figure out what challenges they might face on their trip and how they can solve them. I am a very energetic and fun teacher. I enjoy talking to students and hearing what they have to say. Most of the interactions in this class will be verbal with few written interactions for the students benefit. The written activities do not need to be shared with other classmates if your student does not wish to do so. Children will need no previous knowledge on the topic, just a desire to travel and an adventurous spirit.
