Do you like stories? Have you ever had trouble coming up with a story? Story dice help learners get ideas for story telling and creativity! Not only are they fun and creative, they can also help students with language arts in a variety of ways.
In this course, we will be exploring the benefits and fun that come from playing with story dice! While students are busy telling and listening to stories, their memories are working hard to retain the information being given to them. They will then be asked questions about other student’s stories to test their comprehension skills.
How it works: Learners roll the dice, and (depending on the game being played) they have to use they pictures that they rolled to tell their story! The first roll is the beginning of the story, the second roll is the middle, and the last roll is the end of the story. The catch is, all the pictures rolled on the dice need to be included into their story somehow! That is how some really fun and silly stories can be shared!

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: students do NOT need to know how to write to take this class, all stories are told verbally to the class
