I Can Find Things in My House (Spanish Scavenger Hunt Lesson)

Let’s learn while we play. In this ongoing course, students will sharpen their Spanish language skills by expanding their vocabulary knowledge. They will do so by participating in a scavenger hunt. Each class will have a different topic and the words learned will be related to this topic. The upcoming class topics are as follows:
Week of April 18-24: Shapes
Week of April 25-May 1: Colors
Week of May 2-8: Food
Week of May 9-15: Things in my home
Week of May 16-22: Things at school
During each class, students will learn 10 words and their definition. Then, they will have 1 minute to search around their house for those things. Finally, they will make a sentence with this new word. This class is intended for beginner to intermediate Spanish speakers. Students do not need prior Spanish knowledge to participate in class. I will assist students if they are unable or having difficulty building sentences.
